MY Lady E’s crew sing the praises of Rivergate team

Both the captain and chief engineer of luxury superyacht MY Lady E are singing the praises of Project Manager, Marty Johnson, after the vessel underwent a refit at Rivergate.

The captain and chief engineer of luxury superyacht, MY Lady E, are singing the praises of Rivergate’s Marty Johnson and team after he oversaw the vessel’s recent refit.

During Lady E’s two-month stay, she underwent a variety of works, including the installation of a new ballast water system, fixing a rudder stock leak, provision of a plant inspection, maintenance of a HUG diesel generator, pump repairs, repairing alarm monitoring systems, air conditioning system maintenance and more.

As project manager of this refit, Marty was responsible for the end-to-end management of the job – ensuring that works were done on time and to scope.

The vessel’s chief engineer, Stefan Mihaylov, could not be happier with the works carried out on the boat or the efforts of Marty – who he describes as “one of the best project managers” he has ever worked with.

“He was always on board when needed, ready to help the crew with the right solutions of any problem, supplying us with spare parts, recommending the correct people for each job and supervising them all the time,” said Stefan.

“He never missed a deadline, and all agreed upon scope was done to a superyacht standard.”

Further to Stefan’s praises, Lady E’s captain stopped by Rivergate’s stall at the Monaco Yacht Show to reiterate how happy the whole crew were with Marty’s management of the refit.
